The NASA Giovanni is a niffty interface to various satellite and model data. Access is through a dedicatad browser AND through a REST URL interface to both image and gridded data. For all practical purposes its a WCS interface! We should wrape it to make it truly WCS/WMS. Lets start with the MODIS Terra and Aqua monthly set. Ditto for the daily MODIS Terra and Aqua set.
