The loose coupling of web services is said to require three operation Publish, Find and Bind. Orchestration of web services is, in effect, repeated execution of the Publidh-Find-Bind triad. Really Simple Syndication (RSS, GeoRSS) opens the way to Really Simple Orchestration (RSO). Here is what I mean: If you Publish your content as RSS feeds, publishing is simply a matter of offering the feed. There a numerous search/crawler services that catalog RSS feeds. Finding RSS feeds is now possible through a variety of RSS seach mechanisms. The real simplification arises from the ease of Binding to RSS feeds. So, RSS-based Pulish-Find-Bind is, i.e. RSS-based orchestration offers really easy and loose coupling. An extra bonus is that RSS offers dynamic updates, so the orchestrated components form a self-adjusting adoptive system.
