Use data access standard interface and analysis web services to build an emissions data analysis and fire pixel data analysis applications.
The goal is to build an application using javascript, GoogleMaps, and DataFed services to allow 1) point data to be aggregated to a grid and 2) mathematical analysis on two grids.
The application will follow in the theme of early "mini-apps" such as (note the apps no longer work due to changes in DataFed infrastructure but viewing page source provides an overview of the application-service interaction):
