Notes: Del.icio.us as a model for GEOSS clearinghouse/portal. User registers their own bookmarks into main del.icio.us catalog (link=community catalog) and then views their subset of links through a del.icio.us user or tag page (community portal) the two are linked through the del.icio.us database (GEOSS clearinghouse). Allows access of others bookmarks, pivot to see who else bookmarked this link and find bookmarks not in your list.
Ways to participate - Don't create from scratch or do it all your self. Harvest what is already available, 'delegate' to people with expertise (INFUSION to write WCS tutorial that can be used by EPA Subcommittee on interop), enable by setting up mechanical tools and then step back to be just a normal participant (C.Textor, CF Naming Conventions), ...
