The DataFed KMZ maker allows anyone with a WMS/WCS standard data access to make KMZ's, as well as any registered datasets in DataFed to be made into KMZ.

Extending this service to track the KMZ's that are made to: 1. Allow tagging of KMZ layers (GA Smoke etc.) - Reuse of layers made by others. 2. Allow RSS feed of KMZ layers for a particular dataset wiki page.
