Ecosystem services support human well-being. These main services are supported by supporting services that cycle nutrients, form soil etc that are not directly beneficial to human well-being.

This provides an analogue for services in value chain. We should include not just main service chain that is linked together to form societal benefit, but what services support each of these services? This addition of supporting services provides a place for other types of stakeholders beyond users - like teachers, testers, sustainers, funders.

Ecosystem - Dynamic complex of plant, animal and microorganism COMMUNITIES and non living environment acting as functional unit.
