[edit] Source Filters

The source filters are controlled by moving the filter box (black box) around the desired source. In the pictures below the box is around the Okefenokee Fires that occurred in May, 2007.

The Passthru Filter shows only backtrajectories that pass through the box. This filter doesn't change the weight of the trajectories as they enter the box.

The Passthru weight shows weighted trajectories for trajectories that pass through the box. All other trajectories for the given time are shown as thin blue trajectories with a value of 0.

The Passthru filter weight combines the above two filters, only showing trajectories that pass through the box and changing the weight of the trajectory from 0 to a value after the trajectory enters the box.

[edit] Receptor Filter

For receptor filters the filter box should be moved to the receptor site to determine if there is an impact from the source region.

The End location filter shows backtrajectories only for ATADV receptor sites that are within the filter box.

[edit] How to change the filter

To change the type of filter click on the Service Program, Image:ServiceProgram.png above the map view in the DataFed Viewer and then click on the RenderTrajectoriesByTable box.

To change the filter box size click on the magnify glass symbol, Image:MagnifyGlass.png above the map view in the DataFed Viewer and then edit the lat_cursor_size and lon_cursor_size boxes in the form under Cursor. Image:Rectangle_size.png
