[edit] What are the time zones used in AirNOW?

The station monitoring data in the AirNOW database has a special time dimension that should be of interest to the users. The times are generally expressed in local time. However, there are some deviations which are recorded in the data files. For each data record in addition to the date and time of the measurement, there is an entry for the time zone that the Time refers to. Hence, when comparing AirNOW monitoring data to other observations or model outputs, this has to be kept in mind. See the discussion Rhusar 20:19, 16 June 2007 (CDT)
